Well here I am after so long of procrastinating. Took a long time to even remember my credentials to log into this site. I am now 10 months from my separation from the military and 8 months until I start my terminal leave. Terminal leave is paid leave that you take at the end of your service period so essentially it is just a paid vacation at the end of your term. Debating selling our house or just renting it out and making some money. Found a log cabin house we really like and it is 2330 SQ FT with 4 bedroom 2.5 baths. 2 story. They company will come deliver, build, and certify it for 135k. Not too shabby considering a 4 bedroom 2 bath is going fro 250k plus here in Midland, TX.
