And there were none

You guys liking my random post names?

Ok so I went to go DX my uniforms today. I had blown the crotch out of two of them while competing for my EIB. The lady turns and tells me I am not authorized to turn them in for new ones. I asked very politely, Why? She responds that since I dx'd 2 of my 4 uniforms this 12 month deployment I can't do my other two because I am only authorized two new ones. I said wait wait wait..back it up...You are telling me that these two blown out uniforms I spent days in walking through Iraq, wading through shit creeks, recovering blown up and burned down MRAPs in..I can't get new ones? And you are sitting there in your fancy Oakley shirt and jeans as the chair screams and moans in protest of the 300 pounds sitting on it? What has the Army come to where a civilian is allowed to give the final decision to tell an Infantryman he can not trade in a uniform that he desperately needs because he is going to yet another country again and has only three servicable ones?!?!?!  She said, "Deal with it". I couldn't believe my ears. Wow. And guess what..her supervisor backed her up. That's ok because one day that will come back to her. When  she breaks that stool from surpassing its weight capacity and there is only one stool left and I have it, I will tell her to deal with it and stand. Or when her water goes out in her shower and she asks someone to help her fix it they say deal with it yourself.

Yep not a good day..and I have three uniforms left....

No Ammo...No Pain

So went to the dentist today. Told him about the pain I had been having for a few months now in my upper right molar area. He took X rays and confirmed the worst. Root Canal time. So after I get back from my assignment I will be heading into Kuwait City for the procedure. I am currently taking Tramadol and Penicillin for pain and stuff.

Left for the range last night to go zero and FSC never shower with the ammo until 2200! Insane. We spent the night out there and zeroed sights at 0500. Long night and day. Well I can't see straight anymore so have a good one!

Pure and utter amazement

It really amazes me how stupid and retarded a lot of people are. One minute they are there trying to tell you how to do your job or find something because they think they know it all and the next they are trying to treat you like shit. Can't wait for half these maldunes to get out of the Army or PCS out. I would rather deal with a fiucked up JOE straight out of basic than an NCO who is old, crusty, and needs to be QMP'd out of the military. People who do the minimal to stay in need to be chaptered. To be in the military you should have to prove yourself. Not just getting up and doing PT every day or working on your vehicles. You should have a certain quota to attain every month. For example, I just got my EIB. Now I need to work on my PT. Too easy just scored a 295 of 300 possible points on my PT test. Accomplished. 12 mile roadmarch in 2:41. Accomplished. Ran a full marathon in Feb and a half a week ago. Accomplished. I am fit to fight. Next step: ALC. See how this goes? There should be a standard progression of events in your career instead of stagnating in a unit like a complete and utter shitbag. Just because you got that rocker doesn't make you the boss. I do three times the work you do every day whiole you sham out and go work on your 'tracks'. Suck a dick and get a life,.

On other news, today we learned how to do ECP duties. Pretty fun class today. Got some hands on training with detaining personnel and searching vehicles. Good stuff. All taught by our friendly local Triple Canopy guards. As of now I am boresighting my rifle/PEQ 15. Next I get to go zero my ACOG tomorrow at the range and prepare for my trip to another country..yet again...6 months closing down Iraq, 4.5 months in Kuwait as Task Force Spartan Shield, and now this. Can not wait. What next?

Ran a little today...

Ran a half marathon (13.1 Miles) today at Camp Virginia, Kuwait. Started 4 minute late due to traffic, however we gained on over 90% of the group in the first four miles! Finished in the top 20 with a time of 1:43:24. Not too shabby. My boys here in my unit are from the left: Curtis Schneider, Louis Hasely, and of course myself.
